The personal papers of Naoum Blinder includes concert programs, newspaper clippings of reviews, posters, photographs, corrrespondence, scrapbooks, and a tape of his performance. Also includes biographical material, photographs, and correspondence of Mrs. Eugenia Blinder; correspondence and photographs of Isaac Stern, Pierre Monteux, and their families. Contents of Series X are photocopies of materials held at the American Jewish Archives.

American violinist and teacher. Born in Lutsk, Russia in 1889, studied at Imperial Conservatory of Odessa and the Royal Manchester College of Music. Came to the United States and taught at the Juilliard School, 1929-1931. Became concertmaster of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra in 1932; retired 1957.
